Feral is a menstrual-cycle and fertility tracker built on a simple promise: your health data stays on your phone. This policy explains what that means, and the limited information that is handled when you subscribe.

The short version

We do not have accounts, and we never ask for your name, email, or phone number to use Feral.
Everything you log — cycle dates, flow, symptoms, moods, notes, and the predictions built from them — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
We have no servers that hold your cycle data, no cloud sync, no ads, no advertising identifier, and no third-party analytics or tracking.
The only information that leaves your device is what is strictly required to process a subscription (see “Subscriptions & payments”).

Health and cycle data you enter

Feral lets you record reproductive and general health information — period start and end dates, flow, symptoms, mood, optional notes, and (if you choose) basal temperature and intercourse for conception tracking. This data is written to a private database on your device only. AuraTech Inc cannot see it, retrieve it, or recover it, because it never reaches us. It is not sold, shared, or transmitted for any purpose.

Subscriptions & payments

Feral offers a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play Billing — Feral never sees or stores your card or payment details. To manage your trial and subscription status (for example, to unlock the app after your trial and restore a purchase on a new device), we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service.

For this purpose, and this purpose only, the following limited data is processed off your device:

Your purchase and subscription status (e.g. active, trial, expired) and the associated Google Play purchase token.
An anonymous, app-generated identifier used to keep your subscription tied to your install. This is not linked to your name or contact details, because we do not collect them.
Basic technical data (such as country and device platform) provided by Google Play as part of the transaction.

This billing information is used solely to operate the subscription. It is not used for advertising, and it is never combined with your on-device health data — the two never meet. Permissions the app may request

Notifications — optional reminders (e.g. an upcoming period). Handled locally on your device.
Device authentication (biometrics/PIN) — optional, to lock the app. This uses your device’s own security and never leaves the device.

Feral does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files.

Your control over your data

Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control of it:

Export — you can export your data from within the app at any time.
Delete — you can permanently wipe all data from within the app. Uninstalling Feral also removes the on-device data. Because we never held a copy, deletion is final and complete.

For subscription data held by Google Play and RevenueCat, you can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play, and request deletion of subscription records through the contact below.

Children

Feral is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, and we do not target the app to children.

Data security

Your health data is stored in the app’s private storage on your device and is protected by your device’s security. Keeping your device locked and up to date is the best protection for it. The limited subscription data described above is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
